Privacy Policy

How Pixlift collects, uses, and protects your information — and the choices you have over your data, your account, and the images you upload.

Last Updated

This Privacy Policy explains what information Pixlift collects when you use our website, services, and APIs, how we use that information, and the choices you have. Defined terms used here have the meanings given in the relevant section.

Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide directly to us when you create a Pixlift account, configure your profile, or contact our support team. This includes your email address, display name, optional avatar image, and any preferences you set in your account.

We collect the images you upload for enhancement and the outputs our pipeline generates from them. These files are stored on our infrastructure for as long as you keep them, and may be auto-deleted on a schedule you control from the settings page.

We collect technical information automatically as you use the services — including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URL, and timestamps for the actions you perform. This information is used to operate the services, diagnose problems, and detect abuse.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Pixlift services. That includes running enhancement jobs, returning results to your dashboard, sending share links you create, and surfacing usage and billing data in your account.

We use account and usage data to personalise your experience, communicate with you about your account or product changes, and respond to support requests. Where you have opted in, we may also send you periodic product updates or weekly digests.

We do not use the images you upload to train AI models. Aggregated, fully de-identified service metrics may be used to improve reliability, capacity planning, and the quality of our enhancement pipeline.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers we rely on to operate Pixlift — including our cloud hosting, object storage, payment processor, and email delivery vendors — and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their contracted work on our behalf.

We may share information when required by law, in response to a valid legal process, or where we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pixlift, our users, or the public.

If Pixlift is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you and provide reasonable choices about your information before any such transfer becomes effective.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing activities. You can exercise most of these rights directly from your account settings.

You can update your profile and notification preferences at any time. You can request a copy of your data through the export option in settings, and you can permanently delete your account from the danger zone at the bottom of the same page.

If you are unable to exercise a right through the product, or you have a question about how we handle your information, contact us using the details in the Contact Us section below. We will respond within the time frames required by applicable law.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure your session, and understand how the services are used. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function; others are optional and used only with your consent where required.

You can control cookies through your browser settings or, where available, through the in-product preferences. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may degrade core functionality such as authentication or rate limiting.

We do not use cookies to build cross-site advertising profiles. Any analytics tooling we use is configured to limit data retention and to drop or coarsen IP addresses where the underlying provider supports it.

Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect — including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored images, scoped access controls for our staff, and routine security reviews of our infrastructure.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security and you use the services at your own risk.

If we become aware of a security incident that materially affects your information, we will notify you and, where applicable, the relevant supervisory authorities, in line with applicable law.

Children's Privacy

Pixlift is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will take steps to delete that information.

Where local law sets a higher age of digital consent, that higher age applies. Parents or guardians who believe their child has created an account in violation of these rules can contact us to request its removal.

Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the product or by email before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the services after the effective date of an updated version of this policy constitutes your acceptance of the new policy. If you do not agree to the new policy, you must stop using the services and may delete your account at any time.
